In conjunction with the 23rd anniversary of Kuching City, Kuching City North Hall (DBKU) will be holding the Kuching International Orchid Show 2011 from 26 to 31 July at Orchid Garden, Jalan Astana, here.
The theme of the exhibition is "Cultural Interactions Through Orchids".It will be participated by Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, Japan, Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong/China and Papua New Guinea.
There will be an Orchid L a n d s c a p e C o m p e t i t i o n , Individual Orchid Competition, Floral Arrangement, Orchid Colouring Competition and Fancy Dress Competition.These contests will be held from 26 to 29 July.
The public are urged to see for themselves the beautiful orchids.
